Sycamore Class have this week each completed the TCS Mini London in Schools. They had to run 2 miles, which is almost 10% of the marathon course. The weather was even hotter than it had been for the full marathon in London but everyone completed the distance and had a great time doing so. The children were able to easily take it in their stride as year 5/6 complete a daily mile most days and during the summer term we also do a running club, with over a third of the school attending. St Katharine’s children do many things brilliantly… they are adding running to their list of things they achieve at!
