The hockey tournament that two teams of sycamore children went to, was a blast! We won matches, drew matches and only lost one match . Each team was allocated a pitch; the yellow team was on pitch 3 and the red team were on pitch 2. The yellow team included Nina, Athena, William, Eva H, Izzy, Toby, Seb and me (Molly). The red team consisted of Matilda, Amelia, Poppy, Pippa, JJ, Jonby, Henry and Imogen. We all had a brilliant time playing. In our two different leagues, both teams finished second; We were very pleased with that. Sycamore played extremely well, their key strength was that they were very tactical. We all had a lot of fun playing hockey, it was amazing to be taking part in a friendly hockey tournament with other schools. Thank you to Marlborough hockey club for organizing this tournament and thank you to Mr Sandall and Mrs Crewe for taking us. This was a memorable day!
