Hazel Class visited Sir Harold Hillier Gardens. They had a wonderful day. We went through the bamboo forest and listened to the sounds of the rustling leaves, then we went across the wibbly wobbly bridge. We visited the huge pond and spotted lots of fish! We played an orienteering games where we learnt all about how seeds grow. In the herb garden, we made ‘smelly caterpillars’ but picking some of the herbs and sticking them onto little card caterpillars. The favourite event of the day was definitely pond dipping where we found some amazing minibeasts and even some newts!
