At St Katharine’s C of E Primary School safeguarding children is a core part of our provision. All staff and volunteers are trained in safeguarding and safety procedures. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Niki Jones and the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead is Kevin Sandall. Ms Jones is also the Principal and Kevin Sandall the Deputising Principal. Together they form the senior leadership team that leads our school both strategically and operationally in ensuring that our safeguarding response is effective.
We expect all staff, volunteers, parents, carers and the wider school community to share our commitment to keeping our children safe. All visitors to our school are reminded of their safeguarding responsibility and any who do not have recognised, currently valid Enhanced DBS clearance will be accompanied by a member of staff at all times.
Our page below has information on our ‘Safeguarding Team’, ‘Reporting Concerns’ and ‘Antibullying’. Here is the link to our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy
