On Thursday 4th November Sycamore Class went to Marlborough College, as part of our block of learning about Space, to see the Museum of the Moon. We went into the chapel and there was a 7m diameter moon. It was made of the same material as hot air balloons and was hung up from the ceiling. The teacher who was talking to us, Mr Barclay, told us all about Apollo 11 and the other Apollo missions. He also told us a lot of history about the moon and how it was formed. He said there was once lava on the moon which then all froze and that is where some of the Apollo missions landed. We were lucky enough to see the far side of the moon that we cannot see on the Earth.
