As is traditional at our school we celebrated St Katharine’s Day (St Catherine) on 25th November. No body knows how our celebrations began – they started before anyone currently at the school was here to witness their inception. We laid a small posy of flowers at the foot of the statue of St Katharine in the church. These flowers are always laid by the youngest and the oldest pupil and we ate iced topped cakes in celebration. Our thanks to the parents who helped to make enough for everyone in school to enjoy one (with a few left over for teachers!)
