As you might know we had odd socks day on Monday 14th of November. Odd socks day is a significant day for our school, it is a day to celebrate differences, and this is something that we value at our school, very much. Odd socks day is right in the middle of anti-bulling week, at St Katharine’s we are very much against bullying and think it should be prevented and challenged wherever possible.[NJ1] Although having colourful socks on for a day may be fun, it does however represent a very serious thing. All around the world people are being bullied at school.
Luckily, our school rarely has cases of bullying and if we do because we have talked about this in assembly and in our lessons we would know what to do.
