Oak class travelled back in time this week. They went in a time capsule back to the Victorian times and spent the day, in role, as Victorian school children. The children enjoyed completing activities such as classroom learning, making candles and lavender bags, gardening, washing clothing and carrying out kitchen duties. The day even featured a few Victorian punishments. The children asked great questions and were complimented by the staff at Sevington for their beautiful behaviour and manners. Thank you to the parent volunteers who joined us and all of the parents for organising wonderful costumes and lunches.
